Happy Hike

Today my dear friend had a birthday. What better way to celebrate than to escape the cold and enjoy WARM sunshine! We had so much fun hiking, playing, catching worms, getting muddy, throwing rocks, launching homemade boats into the creek and fishing out chunks of ice. We are so fortunate to have such a beautiful place so close to home.  And Miss Avi got to hang out with her gal pal Ellie :)

The fam.! And our wonderful Grandma Ann and Grandpa Ran, who we enjoy endless hikes with all year long. We are so blessed to have them close by!

The fisherman. There were so many little pools of water leftover from the storm. The boys fished and threw rocks while our friends little girls found fairies in the water and collected flowers. Oh, the differences between boys and girls.

Another little fisherman taking a break. I think this was the only moment he stood still all day.  Why are kids always so much happier outside?

A great day and a great way to end a long cold week.
Happy Birthday Jilly!
